cool riderEvery year we load up the car and take a road trip to Western Pennsylvania for my family reunion.  There is always great food, good conversation and even a little competition.

This year, I am more than proud to say that Mike and I won the balloon toss for the very first time.  We've been attempting to overthrow the reigning champs (my Aunt Susie and Uncle Jimmy) and this year....we did it.  Ok, so we had to steal some of their dirty tricks, but we WON! :)

hugs for great grand

In case you are unfamiliar with the intricacies of family reunion games, the balloon toss is an event where couples get a burlap sack and a water balloon and are asked to toss the balloon back and forth (in the sack.)  Sounds easy enough, but you have to factor in some serious strategy when dealing with my smart relatives.  I've been playing these games since I was Mia's age and this first year of victory is the sweetest. You think this is scary..........you should hear me talk about the bingo game. :)  I'm just sorry I don't have any pictures to show you our victory dance!

grand cheese!

Mia is my Grandmother's only great-grandchild so she gets lots of hugs and kisses at the reunion!  Can you tell she loves all the attention?

Lynn, Katie and Mia

Lynn, Mia and my cousin Katie...such supermodels aren't they?  But step back boys, Katie already has a boyfriend...and he's a cutie. :)

Kelly and her friend

My cousin Kelly made it to the reunion after her cheerleading competition.  They won second place!  Way to go Kell!
